I had been looking forward to it ever since my son and daughter gave me the falconry gift voucher for my 60th birthday. It was a wonderful experience getting to meet birds we see on TV or in books, ‘up close and personal’. They all looked in great condition and are clearly well looked after. I have been relating the activities to my family and friends, and have relived my day with you most enjoyably! 'Thank you so much for a wonderful and informative falconry day, we felt at home with you straight away. We were really impressed with the lunch, as we were just expecting sandwiches! The Victoria sponge - well that was also wonderful. We have some amazing photos and videos. I think it was a surprise for my guests to see me handling the Hawk, and the Barn Owl, I rather liked him! I think we all had an affinity with one bird or another, and agreed if we lived closer, we would happily help out occasionally, but sadly too far to commit regularly.
